Always looking to break new ground, we have established India's first internationally credible Hip-Hop flavor with this album. The very first single "DAKKU DADDY" promises to be quite a thriller with Shakti Kapoor featuring in a music video for the first time ever as the DAKKU DADDY!
This song is a cleverly executed concept with a driving reggae-tone beat and vocal delivery style yet to be experience by Hindi Music listeners. "Ai! Hip-Hopper" comes power-packed with 12 bumping tracks ranging from the sexy, international club sound of "Bollywood Chick" to the complete desi vibe of the socially conscious "No Smoking!" The title track "Ai! Hip-Hopper" is an epic love story between a star Hip-Hopper and his BAI (maid)! To give this song an extra zing, we've been lucky to get the magical Sunidhi Chauhan to lend her voice as the loving BAI! In the quest of genuine creativity, we've recorded "My World" featuring Zubeen Garg (of Ya Ali fame), in his mother tongue of Assamese and fused the folk elements of his culture with pure Hip-Hop beats and lyrics penned by IshQ. |

natural storyteller, IshQ will make you laugh or keep you
mesmerized with his charming demeanour, sly lyrics or
electrifying dance moves.
Born & raised in Winnipeg, Canada, IshQ has made Mumbai his
second home. Certified in Chinese Medicine with his forte
in Acupuncture, this multi-talented Gemini followed his first
passion in life, music. He has studied acting at the famous
Roshan Taneja film studio in Mumbai then went on to VJ & host
shows on MTV, B4U & Channel V. He has written, produced and
sang on films like Dhoom 2, Fight Club & Pyar ke Side Effects.
Since then he has shared the stage with artists like Sean Paul,
Mobb Deep, Chamillionaire, John Cena (WWE), & Rishi Rich
raising the temperature a couple of notches with his skillz on
the mic and as a performer. IshQ has lit up the silver screen to
feature in the huge banner movie 'Barsaat,' with Bollywood
superstars: Bipasha Basu and Priyanka Chopra. |
