Terms & Conditions for trial -
1. Should be 35 years of age or older (males), Should be 18 years of age or older (females).
2. Workout timings for free trial between 6am and 6pm.
3. Workout days - Wednesday, Thursday, Friday & Saturday (and valid for 3 consecutive days only).
4. One time use only.
5. Not valid for use of steam and showers, only valid for workouts.
6. We reserve the right to admission, valid mobile number a must.
Membership entitles an individual to use of the club's facilities subject to the conditions of their chosen membership category, tariff rates and availability. Please note prices are liable to change from time to time.
Member's Access
Every Member will receive an electronic fob which must be used to gain access to the club. Members applying for a replacement card or electronic fob will be subject to an administration fee.
Children
Children's hours are Monday to Friday 10am - 12noon and 3pm - 5pm, weekends and bank holidays 12noon - 4pm.
Child is defined as under 16. All under 16's should be supervised by an adult (over 18) when using the pool area. At the age of 16 they can choose to pay an adult membership fee and use all the facilities (subject to a compulsory one hour gym induction prior to using the gym and /or classes) or they can continue on junior membership on the basis they are supervised at the club and only use the pool and only during children's hours. At age 18 all users must pay an adult membership fee.
Children under the age of 12 should not use the steam room, hot spa or sauna.
Children under 14 years are not allowed in the bar unless there is a children's certificate granted by the magistrates in force. If such a certificate is in force then certain conditions will apply. Notice of these will be displayed.
Members' Guests
Members over 18 years of age are welcome to introduce guests to the club. Guests should register, pay the current guest fee and must be accompanied by a Member. We are unable to take advance bookings for guests.
Each Member can introduce the same person no more than 6 times per year and will be given a guest disclaimer form. Members must ensure that their guests are fully aware of the clubs Terms & Conditions and Rules & Regulations. The proprietors take no responsibility for accidents, injuries, misadventure, theft or damage to personal belongings experienced by guests of the club.
Where the club has function facilities for private parties, then a member booking such facilities may request the General Manager to permit additional guests entry, which will be limited to any such approved pre-booked function.
Lockers
For security reasons and the benefits of other members all lockers must be vacated by the end of each visit.
All lockers will be checked and emptied at the end of every day and any contents will be disposed of for security reasons. This policy is adopted for Member's safety and security and is of prime importance in the club operation.
Advance Bookings
Bookable facilities may be reserved up to 7 days in advance either at the leisure club reception between 7.00am -10.00pm each day, or by telephone between 9.00am - 10.00pm.
A member can advance book each individual facility for one session only per day.
All booked facilities must be confirmed when checking in, no later than 15 minutes prior to the booked time, otherwise they will be released to the waiting list or general availability. There is an additional charge for some of the facilities.
Any facilities/classes which are booked and not used will be subject to a charge, which will apply to all categories of membership.
Changing Membership Category and Subscriptions
All memberships are payable monthly by Direct Debit - normally taken on the 1st of each month.
If at any point you wish to cancel your membership, you must contact the Membership Secretary in writing giving the appropriate length of notice. Notice periods may vary according to membership type, please refer to your membership agreement for full details. Joining fees and subscriptions paid in advance will not be refunded unless you cancel within 14 days of joining.
Members may change their membership type by contacting the Membership Secretary dependent on giving the required notice period and subject to an administration fee. A Direct Debit mandate is valid for all membership types and does not require amending when changing membership type.
In the case of having to temporarily suspend membership due to long term injury, illness or pregnancy, written acceptance and waiver of the joining fee on re-application must be received from the Club Manager prior to cancellation.
When changing bank accounts from one bank/branch to another, immediate notification must be given to the Membership Secretary.
All membership is personal to each Member, however it is possible to transfer membership to another names person providing notice is given to the Membership Secretary by the 20th of the month. The transferee will be required to complete a Membership Application form and a Direct Debit mandate but will not be required to pay a joining fee nor pay any of the membership subscriptions which have been paid in advance by the transferrer.
A Member proposing to transfer membership may not actively market such a transfer. Joining fees are partially transferable but not refundable.
Freezing Membership
A membership may be frozen if the Membership Secretary is notified by the 20th of the month. membership can only be frozen for a minimum of 3 months and a maximum of 12 months. A charge of £10.00 per month will be levied.
Forgotten Fobs
"Electronic Fobs" must be used on every visit to swipe in and out at reception. Members can be issued with the replacement fobs, a charge will be levied accordingly.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the club or bar.
Personal Belongings
Our liability to compensate you in the case of loss or damage other than death or personal injury is limited to a reasonable amount having regard to such factors as to whether the damage was due to a negligent act or omission by us.
If any personal property is found please hand in at the reception. Any property that is not claimed within 28 days will be donated to a worthy charitable cause.
